Hi all
Please help. I have a tax return due tomorrow. I did a small amount of self-employed work year 2012-2013 but also had four jobs and paid student loans. Unfortunately I only got to log in online a couple of weeks ago and find I had to declare employed as well as self-employed earnings.
The very simple question is: when listing my gross income in each job do I list the figure that says 'gross' or 'gross taxable'. This makes the difference between HMRC owing me and me owing them. The non-taxable bits would be petrol and pension I'm guessing but the figure doesn't say exactly what it was for.
Thanks hopefully
