My daughter recently started a new job but her first payslip a the end of Feb shows her tax code as 500T. This is due to her previous employment where HMRC believed she had 2 jobs - which she didn't but that's another story. Anyway, since her first pay, her new tax coding has arrived and it correctly shows 944L. Can anyone advise whether the tax she overpaid in Feb (about £100) will be automatically corrected in March's payroll or will it need to be reclaimed? Thanks.
