Hi all
Got my new coding notice this week, and I'm being charged quite a bit for a previous underpayment. Spoke to HMRC and they think that I got fuel for my Company Car for the tax year 2009/10. I've checked my copy of the P11D for that year and no fuel is included, my Payroll dept have also checked their copy and it says the same, however HMRC are insistent their copy lists fuel as a benefit.
HMRC tell me to get my Payroll dept to submit a revised P11D, Payroll tell me what they sent to HMRC is correct and have nothing to revise so can't submit anything.
Any ideas where I go next?
